Formed as a grassroots effort in the dining room of Amy and Jim Grant’s Belfast farm in 2018, a group of concerned citizens banded together to form Upstream Watch. Upstream Watch became the effective watchdog it is today due to the endless energy and determination of volunteers and a generous and supportive community. Through these efforts, Upstream Watch is expanding its mission and scope with the founding of Penobscot Bay Waterkeeper. We answer to the water.
